Charline Hays, 80, of Forsan died Wednesday, May 5, 2021. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday with her memorial service at 4 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel with Brad Daniels officiatin­g.

Charline was born Dec. 14, 1940, in Boswell, Okla., to Evelyn and Paul Isbell. She and all of her siblings were born on her grandparen­ts’ farm. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma. She married Marion Hays in 1997. They moved to Forsan a year ago from Mitchell County. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She loved singing.

Charline is survived by her husband: Marion Hays of Forsan; two daughters: Kay Lynn Zanger of South Carolina and Linda Caylor (Kenneth) of Shawnee, Okla.; two stepdaught­ers: Debbie Hanson of Big Spring and Beckie Wash (Robert) of Big Spring; five brothers and sisters: Joellen Jones of Durant, Okla., Newman Isbell (Joann) of Hobbs, N.M., Paulette Fulgham (Roe) of Brownfield; Jerry Isbell (Donna) of Lubbock and Eddie Isbell (Cathy) of Ponder, Texas; three grandchild­ren: Reema Nicole Slagle (Randy) of Allen, Texas, Leena Dianne Alkayed (Bo Thrasher) of Austin, and Madison Slagle of Allen; and one great-grandson: Cameron Slagle of Austin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparen­ts: Josie and Jim Isbell, and Theadosha and John Henry Powell; and a sonin-law: Larry Zanger.
