90th Birthday Eula Bell Fowler

-

On Saturday, March 20, Eula Bell Fowler celebrated her 90th birthday. She was born on March 22, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., to Oscar and Ola Self. The party was held at the Coahoma Community Center from 2 to 4 p.m. Many friends and family also attended virtually.

The party was hosted by her two granddaughters, K’leigh Fowler Baker and Stephanie Tutle Ferguson. Bell’s nieces and nephews, Pattie Mcmillan, Shari Brotherton, Vance Self and Jerry Hedinger assisted with preparation and serving.

In attendance were her sisters, Dorothy Rucker of Houston, Carolyn Holley of Greenville, and sister-in-law, Sandy Self of Slaton. Bell’s children, Dietra (Gene) Tutle of San Angelo and Joe (Cindy) Fowler of Coahoma were also there to celebrate with their mom. She had five of the eight grandchildren and spouses, and eight of the 11 great-grandchildren children present. Many local friends and family honored her by coming out and joining the fun.

The sign-in table featured an acrylic heart that held signature hearts of all that attended.

Pictures of Eula Bell from age two to 90 adorned the tables, along with floral arrangements and cookies decorated especially for her.

Individual charcuterie cups were served along with other appetizers, cookies, and Bundt cakes in multiple flavors.

Eula Bell had her own 90th birthday mini Bundt cake with a candle for each decade. Assisting her with blowing out the candles were the little great-grands, Landrie, Boone, Parker, and Jackson.

Bell received 90+ birthday cards with special wishes and much love for her.

Her special day was as special as she is! Here’s to many more!
