Dorothy had many friends, too many to list, but we know she would want her best friend, Anne Reed, to be mentioned. In her final hours the sound of her voice made Dorothy smile. She loves you so much.

Also, to treasure is her “special” daughter, Tanya Rodriguez, you are forever a part of the family.

Dorothy had a full life of love, happiness, laughter, and adventure. She has been county clerk secretary, dry cleaner owner/operator, zoo owner, dog groomer, state farm secretary, to hospital operator.

Her fondest memories were times spent with family and friends.

Her favorite job aside from being a mother was being a “Grandma”. She took that role very seriously. She loved each and every one of them and was very proud of their accomplishments. “Grandma” was a name she would tell anyone she met to call her and she truly wore the title with charm and integrity.

Dorothy spent much time with her grandkids after her retirement.

She was there for them from birth when they were sick and at all their events with school & sports. Jordan, Zachary, and Aubree was there for her until the end for her.

She would be very proud of the love and care that they gave her in her final days. The night she passed they each went and gave her kiss goodnight and told her they loved her and within a short time she walked into heaven….
