CHS senior Kerby to sign with Mcpherson football program on Monday

Coahoma High School senior Brysen Kerby will sign his letter of intent to join the Mcpherson College football program at 1:15 p.m., Monday, Feb. 14, at the CHS auditorium.

Kerby was a four-year varsity running back for the Coahoma Bulldog football team, who had a career high of 3,628 yards rushing and 49 touchdowns. During his senior year, he had 1,158 yards rushing, eight touchdowns, and 1,400-plus all purpose yards. He was also named to the all-district first team for the 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons.

Mcpherson, located in Kansas, is a Division II program and a member of the National Associatio­n of Intercolle­giate Athletics (NAIA). The Mcpherson Bulldogs play in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
