Alvin Robert “Bob” Corley, 69, passed into the arms of his Savior on Friday, January 21, 2022, in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Golf Course Road Church of Christ, 3500 W. Golf Course Rd, Midland TX, 79703.

On January 8, 1953, Bob was born in Midland, Texas, to Ardie Ray Corley and Doris Lowery Corley. He was a graduate of Midland College. Bob met his beloved soulmate, Michelle, on New Year's Eve of 1991, and they were happily united until his passing. He was the essence of what it meant to be a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Bob wanted only the best for his family and worked hard to provide. He was VP of Corley Paper and Box and manager of Trimway at Big Springs, Texas.

Bob loved kids, and it didn't matter whose kids they were. He was a proud Pop and took pride in coaching all the neighborhood children. He was the kind of neighbor dad who would do whatever needed to be done for the kids. Bob truly relished encouraging and supporting all the children. He committed himself to be present at all of the kid's supporting events. Bob was a passionate sports lover; but mostly loved riding his Harley with his beautiful partner for life, Michelle. He will hold a special place in all our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; children: Alan Ray, Poppy Dawn Corley-simmang, Robert Dale, and Keith Lane; two stepsons: Michael David Reaves and Matthew Scott; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, plus one more on the way! He also leaves one brother, one sister, as well many cousins and extended family.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions honoring Bob to Midland Hair Havens, 2400 Whitmire Blvd Ste 100, Midland, TX, 79705.

Bob's tribute was beautifully written in his honor by his loving wife, Michelle.
