Ernesto “Tito” Gonzales

Ernesto “Tito” Gonzales, 67, died Tuesday March 15, 2022 in Odessa, Texas. Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM Monday with vigil service at 7 PM at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at Coahoma Cemetery.

Tito was born on January 8, 1955 in Millersview, TX to Isidro & Esther Gonzales. He moved to Big Spring in 1974 from Millersview, TX. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Tito retired from Universal Construction in 2009 after 25 years. He loved barbequing, fishing, playing billiards, dominoes, & chess. He also played the guitar and Mary would sing.

Tito is survived by his wife: Mary Gonzales of Big Spring, 2 sons: Joel Rodriguez (Susie) & Ernesto Gonzales both of Big Spring; 3 daughters: Lorell Escobedo (Joe) of Coahoma, Maria Inez Gonzales of Big Spring, & Janie Gonzales of Snyder; his parents: Esther Martinez of San Angelo & Isidro Gonzales (Julie) of Odessa; 31 grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.

Tito was preceded in death by 2 sons: Gilbert Rodriguez & Isidoro Gonzales.
