Three sons, Michael Royce Ott, who preceded her in death, and his wife, Janice Ott of Stamford, Texas, Harold Ray Ott of Coahoma, Texas, and Randall Van Miller, who preceded her in death.

She deeply loved her grandchildren, Elen Michele Sprole (Patricia), Tina Marie Ott, Crystal Hendricks (Kyle), Harold Ott Jr (Marlena), Jolynne Nicole Mccarley (Tony), and Jynsea Linea Mcguire (Edward). She had 13 great grandchildren, with one on the way. She dearly loved many extended family members, including numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many dear friends.

Joann loved and served Jesus above all else, and she raised her children to love and trust Him as well. She prayed many prayers for her whole family, even in her final days. She visited, and witnessed to numerous people who gave their lives to the Lord. She was a faithful shining light, and the pillar of her family. She was kind and generous to her family, and to anyone who needed help. She will be loved, remembered and greatly missed! Her children rise up and call her blessed!
