Jessica Erin Roman

Jessica Erin Roman, 41, of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Nalley-pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday at the Nalley-pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Pastor Scott Kirkland, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial

Park.

Jessica was born September 12, 1980 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Ronda Rae (Blevins) and John Bradley Hastings. She grew up in New Zealand as a missionary child, until she was 17 years old. She attended Wellington Girls College and graduated as Salutatorian at Arlington Baptist College in 2002. She married Gregg Roman August 5, 2000. Jessica was very artistic and had the ability to transform all things old into new and beautiful creations. She loved all animals, was very dependable, hard working with a good memory. Jessica had a smile that would light up the room and always put others needs before hers. She was a Procurement Analyst at the VA Medical Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Jessica is survived by her husband Gregg of Big Spring; two daughters: Lyssa and Aaralyn Roman; her parents: Brad and Ronda Hastings of Grants, New Mexico; two sisters: Jill Botticelli and Jodell Powers, both of Ft. Worth, two nieces: Talia Barker of Mansfield and Eavie Powers of Ft. Worth; her mom and dad: David and Sherry Roman, her brother-in-law: Blaine Roman, all of Big Spring and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother-in-law Vinnie Botticelli.
