BSHS boys’ golf team wins fourth straight district championship

Courtesy photo At the District Golf Tournament held Monday at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock, Big Spring High School’s boy’s golf team emerged victorious, winning the District Champions title for the fourth consecutive year. Pictured (l-r) are Assistant Golf Coach Cayla Randolph, freshman Andrew Garcia, sophomore Eligja Gonzales, sophomore Reece Harris, sophomore Christian Martinez, freshman Brycen Billalba, and Head Golf Coach Mike Scarbrough. April 19 and 19, the team will return to Shadow Hills for the Regional Tournament. According to Scarbrough, the top three teams at the Regional contest will advance to the State Tournament, as will the top three medalists that are not members of the top three teams.
