Easter in Howard County
Last weekend was Easter, and several local groups and organizations held Easter egg hunts and other fun events. Here at the Herald, we got quite a few photos and we thought we’d take one last look back at the holiday to share to colorful Easter bunny fun.
On the top row, the Happy Day Humane Society, 5710 Interstate 20 in Big Spring, held an Easter bash, with food and fun in support of some homeless pets.
At left (top and bottom), Forsan High School’s Lady Buffaloes Softball team enjoyed an Easter egg hunt before a game during the week before the holiday.
Above, the Easter bunny paid a visit to Family Faith Center’s Easter celebraton, which included a Sunrise service in addition to a 10 a.m. Worship service in the Comanche Trail Amphitheater, as well as a cook-out lunch and giant Easter egg hunts for both children and adults.
