Oralia Gomez Granados Obituaries

- Paid obituary

Oralia Gomez Granados, 64, of Ponca City passed away May 2, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

She was born on September 29, 1957, to Manuel and Theodora (Hernandez) Gomez in Hillsboro, Texas.

She was proceeded in death by Father, Mother, and three brothers.

Oralia, or to people who know her as “Riley,” was told at an early age to watch over her siblings, which she took to heart, a responsibility that led her, I believe, to love challenges. Riley eventually got married and had three children, Mariano Granados, Michelle

Granados, and Johnnie Granados.

Riley started working retail, where she quickly rose in ranks and moved all over Texas with different stores, making them better and making new friends along the way. As a single mom it wasn't easy, but she made it work, like she did with all things. Failure was a term that she despised and yes, she had a few, but it always made her stronger. Eventually Riley retired, moving to Oklahoma with her long-time love, Russell Huse. At this time, she started enjoying grandchildren, new cultures, new places, and an occasional casino. Riley was a compassionate, loving, giving, and caring person. The best person I have ever known. You will be missed every day. Rest well and in peace, my lady.

There will be a graveside service at a later date.
