Adapted from Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee novels, this new thriller series is set in 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley, Utah. On this rugged turf, Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn Mcclarnon, TV’S “Fargo”) of the Tribal Police struggles to stay on top of a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. He is joined by new deputy, Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon, “Roswell, New Mexico”), who — like his boss — is wrestling with some personal demons. Jessica Matten, Noah Emmerich and Rainn Wilson also are featured.
