Howard County Library will be closed Monday, October 9 in observance of Columbus Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 10. The library will be hosting the Science Spectrum as they present the program Astronauts in Space as we gear up for the Annular
Solar Eclipse on October 14,2023. The Science Spectrum will be at the library on Thursday, October 12 from 5:00-6:00 PM. This is a free program and is open to the public and we will be handing out solar eclipse glasses at the end of the program to those present while supplies last. Due to Library closing on Monday there will be no Chess Club, but it will resume normal time the following week October 16.
Baby Storytime for ages 0-3 is on Tuesday, October 10, and Preschool Storytime for ages 4-6 is on Thursday, October 12 both Storytime's start at 10:30 AM in the Childrens room. Tuesday, October 10 from 4:30-5:30 PM we have Teen art program Slice of Art with Ms. Jamie, a free program for ages 12-17 in the large community room. We are also bringing back our Code Club every Wednesday starting Oct 11 from 4:305:30 PM and this will be for ages 8-15.
