Legal Aid
Legal Aid of Northwest Texas is available every first and third Wednesday at the Howard County Resource Center, 110 NE 8th St. A Civil Legal Clinic will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Resource Center. To register call 432332-1207 ext. 4511 by 5 p.m. Sept. 29.

Oct. 14-Annular Eclipse viewing. The eclipse will begin approximately 10:20 a.m.
Oct. 21-Celebrate butterflies, bees, bats and more with us! Visit with local exhibitors, make crafts, and enjoy a day in your local Texas State Park. Ongoing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join us at the CCC group picnic pavilion and playground area. The event is completely outdoors. Please dress for the weather and bring your own sun protection. Bring your own water bottle. Bringing your own snacks and folding chair are optional. The cost is free.
