Howard County Commissioners to meet Monday
The Howard County Commissioners are set to meet Monday for it's regular meeting at 10 a.m. to be held in the Howard County Courtroom located on the third floor of the Howard County Courthouse.
A workshop is scheduled beforehand at 9 a.m. and will take in the County Conference Room located on the second floor of the County Courthouse.
Among the items up for consideration include taking open bids and possible action related to the sale of real property at 301 Spring Creek Rd.
In the regular portion of the meeting Howard County Judge Johnson will present to the Commissioners Court the presentation and acceptance of County Officials monthly reports and a discussion and possible action taken regarding elections office building repairs and improvements funding.
Howard County Treasurer Sharon Adams will present her usual items which include personnel considerations, monthly payroll report, treasurers monthly report, and TAC and ARTS renewal.
Howard County Auditor, Jackie Olson, will present invoices, purchase requests, and a budget amendment.
Howard County Commissioner Precinct 3, Jimmie Long, will present to the Commissioners Court for approval regarding a election office sign and outside lights.
Howard County Road Engineer Brian Klinksiek, will present his usual roadway maintenance update, a couple of contracts, the traffic count plan for Precinct 1, and the discussion and possible action taken regarding a temporary water crossing on old airport for both Vitel Energy and Callon Energy.
Howard County Clerk, Brent Zitterkopf will present his usual monthly report.
