For some, one wife will do. For others: the more, the merrier. The highly popular, polygamy-based reality series “Seeking Sister Wife” returns for its fifth season, premiering Monday, March 4, on TLC.

In sharing a brief synopsis of what’s to come, TLC promised: “The new season will document the lives of five polygamous families as they navigate the challenges of actively searching for and courting potential new sister wives . ... With two returning families and three new couples, these families are determined to open their hearts and homes to new wives, even if a few growing pains are felt along the way.”

While there has been no official announcement from TLC regarding which families will be returning, some eagle-eyed fans may have noticed some glaring clues being shared across social media, all regarding one (potentially) returning couple — Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield, introduced in “Seeking Sister Wife’s” first season.

Dannielle Merrifield, now 36, recently shared an Instagram story on her personal account (@wifey_merrifield) that showed filming equipment overtaking the Merrifield’s living room, posting the caption “We are coming back for Season 5!” alongside one photo and “Excited to finally share with you all” in another.

Later on, Dannielle also shared some selfies that featured her husband, Garrick, 40, tagging TLC’S Instagram handle and sharing the show’s hashtag (#seekingsisterwife) — in the last photo she shared, Dannielle appears in a black-and-white selfie, standing in her kitchen with one hand on her midsection, only captioning the date and time of the Season 5 premiere.

Last we saw the Merrifields, the duo were looking to add to their plural marriage, as Garrick courted two women — Roberta and Lea — and soon ended his relationship with both, sending Roberta back to her home in Brazil. The couple, who currently share two sons, are still looking to add another wife to their family, and seem to be excited to return to the series, both hopeful for a little more luck than they shared in their last appearance.

TLC has yet to name the second returning family, but fans can tune in to see whether the Merrifields will be joined by the Snowdens, the Alldredges, the Brineys, the Winders, the Joneses, the Clarks, the Davises, the Foleys or the Epps in Season 5 of “Seeking Sister Wife,” premiering Monday, March 4, on TLC.
