Rosalinda Gonzales, 79, died Monday, April 29, 2024. Vigil service will be at 7:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

She was born December 1, 1944, in Big Spring and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was very devoted to her church and active in participat­ing in Vigils and Rosaries. She was very faithful in visiting the sick in the church. She was a member of the Royal Teens Club, which started in 1959 and lasted a lifetime. She worked for Big Spring Independen­t School District, at Moss Elementary, for 45 years, retiring in 2015. She enjoyed gardening and yard work.

She is survived by three daughters: Sandra Martinez (Andrew) of Coahoma; Lori Rodriguez (Robert) of Hinesville, Georgia; Teresa Vela of Big Spring; one brother: Mike Zubiate (Irene) of San Antonio; ten grandchild­ren: Alyssa Rodriguez, Valerie Peters, Robert Rodriguez, Jr, Michael Rodriguez, Michelle Rodriguez, Andrew J. Martinez, Lauren Smith, Arturo Vela, Jr, Bryan Martinez, and Jace Vela; fifteen great grandchild­ren; a number of nieces and nephews; and lifetime friends: Roselia Ramirez, Linda Paredez, and Minga Shokley.

In addition to her parents, Florencia and Eladio Zubiate, she was preceded in death by her husband: Feliciano Gonzales; one son: Miguel Gonzales; and two sisters: Angelita Hernandez and Elodia Holguin.
