Reality TV rodeo: “The GOAT” asks which reality TV star shines the brightest

They may be the best in their own right, but to be the Greatest of All Time, it takes something special. Putting familiar faces from reality TV through a gauntlet unlike any other, this all-new series — “The GOAT” — premieres its first three episodes Monday, May 6, on Prime Video and Freevee.

From the islands of Fiji to the dating pods of “Love is Blind,” this reality series asks 14 television superstars — “from Bachelorettes to Housewives to Survivors to Drag Racers and everyone in between” (per Amazon MGM Studios) — to live within the gilded walls of “GOAT Manor,” where they will reside alongside their competition, building relationships that could make or break their game.

All the while, the competitors will be “hosted and roasted” by comedian Daniel Tosh (“Tosh 2.0”), who presides over the house and the game itself, leading his guests in endlessly grueling challenges — over 20 of them, to be exact. As they earn and break one another’s trust, battling it out in games that activate their wit, grit and spirit, the stars compete to be the audience’s new favorite, with one winner eventually earning $200,000 and the coveted title of “Greatest of All Time” (aka: The GOAT).

First to be put through this series’ physical, social and emotional roller coaster will be some of today’s most popular reality stars from across all networks, including the likes of Tayshia Adams (“The Bachelor”), Joe Amabile (“Dancing with the Stars”), Kristen Doute (“Vanderpump Rules”), Reza Farahan (“Shahs of Sunset”), CJ Franco (“Fboy Island”), Wendell Holland (“Survivor”), Teck Holmes (“The Real World”), Justin Johnson/alyssa Edwards (“Rupaul’s Drag Race”), Paola Mayfield (“90 Day Fiancé”), Da’vonne Rogers (“Big Brother”), Joey Sasso (“The Circle”), Jason Smith (“Holiday Baking Championship”), Lauren Speed-hamilton (“Love Is Blind”) and Jill Zarin (“The Real Housewives of New York City”).

Plucked from the minds behind mega-hits such as “The Bachelor,” “Fboy Island” and “The Office,” “The GOAT” is produced by Elan Gale (“The Bachelor”), Bill Dixon (“Fboy Island”), Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”), Lee Eisenberg (“Jury Duty”) and Howard T. Owens (“Running Wild with Bear Grylls”), and premieres Monday, May 6, on Prime Video and Freevee.
