David Logan Jansch, 81, of Big Spring, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2019. The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Coahoma Cemetery.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1937, in Islip Town, New York. He is survived by three daughters, Judy Cook of California, Diane Jonas Kyle, and Krystal Gilbert (David) of San Angelo; three sons, Mike Pruitt (Kathy) of Caddo, Oklahoma, Tracy Pruitt (Pat) of Pasadena, Texas, and John Linden of San Angelo; six granddaugh­ters; sixteen great-grandchild­ren; and four great-great-grandchild­ren; as well as many nieces and nephews; two sisters, Helen Crandall (Ned) of Big Spring, and Liz Jansch of Colorado; one brother, Tom Jansch (Sally) of Dansville, New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Jane Jansch; his wife, Francine Jansch; one daughter, Cynthia Smith; three grandsons; one granddaugh­ter; and three brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 810 Scurry Street, Big Spring, TX 79720.
