Big Spring XC Invitational results
The Big Spring XC Invitational was at Comanche Trail Park this past weekend. Teams from the surrounding area came to compete at the meet.
Several local schools placed as a team and had individual runners bring in good times.
Overall Big Spring Varsity Boys placed fourth, with Snyder taking first place with 40 points; Crane taking second place with 52 points and Odessa Permian coming in third place with 52 points, as well. Forsan Varsity Boys came in sixth place with a total of 212 points, out of nine competing teams.
In the Varsity Girls Division, Big Spring came in fifth place with 162 points. Odessa Permian girls took first place with 46 points, and Midland Greenwood took second place with 93 points.
There were eight teams who competed in the Varsity Girls division.

The Big Spring, Forsan and Garden City Junior High track teams competed at the Big Spring XC Invitational, alongside the Varsity Cross Country teams, on Saturday.
In the Junior High Girls Division, Forsan placed fourth with 161 points and Garden City came in 11th Place with a total of 316 points. Big Spring’s team came in 12th with 384 points.
The Junior High Boys team placed sixth with 198 points. Glenn took first place with 80 points and Abell ended up coming in second place with 93 points.
