NazFamily Church

This Sunday - I love the Peanuts cartoon when Lucy demanded that her brother, Linus, change TV channel to something she wanted to watch. Linus asked, "What makes you think you can walk right in here and take over?"

"These five fingers," Lucy said. "Individually they're nothing but when I curl them together like this into a single unit, they form a weapon that is terrible to behold."

Linus asked, "Which channel do you want?" Turning away, he looks at his fingers and said, "Why can't you guys get organized like that?” Though we are all different, God designed us to work together as One Body. We are better together! Join us this Sunday as Pastor Richard continues the series The Power of One.

On Sunday July 5, we celebrated the Independence Day weekend with a wonderful duet by Mr. Dan Kiley and Mr. Gabe Martinez followed by the presentation of the colors by the Boy Scout Troop 1, in the 9 a.m. worship service. Then in our 11 a.m. worship the Bridge team led us in a wonderful time of worship. Pastor Ricky's message was about “Declaration of Dependence” how our founding fathers declared their independence from England but of equal significance declared their dependence upon Almighty God. We as Christians must “Declare our Dependence” on our Heavenly Father, secondly, not to forget Him, and to remember real freedom comes in Christ Jesus through His sacrifice. Then we celebrated Holy Communion. Pastor Ricky and Kristi are excited to be in Big Spring, Texas and look forward to getting to know everyone.
