Steer Na­tion hosts Com­mu­nity Pep Rally

Steer Pride was roar­ing at Memo­rial Sta­dium on Satur­day night as stu­dents, ath­letes and fam­i­lies joined to­gether for the an­nual Com­mu­nity Pep Rally.

The 2020 Steer Foot­ball team was in­tro­duced to the com­mu­nity, as stu­dents, coaches and fam­ily mem­bers gath­ered to­gether to kick of foot­ball sea­son.

“With­out a doubt, this was the best com­mu­nity pep rally I have at­tended in the five years I have lived in Big Spring. The ex­cite­ment and en­thu­si­asm were amaz­ing,” Big Spring ISD Su­per­in­ten­dent Jay McWilliams said. “We had a tremen­dous turnout from our par­ents and com­mu­nity mem­bers. The Big Spring Steers hosted the an­nual Com­mu­nity Pep Rally last Satur­day. Steer Na­tion joined to­gether to kick off the 2020 Foot­ball sea­son and let their Steer Pride shine. This was the first time Steer Na­tion has been able to come to­gether since the pan­demic be­gan.
