Relay For Life 2020 going virtual Saturday, 8 p.m. for annual event
Let's … get … ready … to RELAY … virtually!
The coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on events across the country, but through a little bit of creativity, some annual events are still taking place and raising awareness, including the annual Relay For Life event.
This past year, virtual reality, zoom meetings, and other new forms of technology have been gaining traction battles against the pandemic. Over the past few weeks, schools have opened back up and a sense of normalcy is on the horizon. The Relay For Life of Howard and Glasscock Counties committee has been hard at work, since the beginning of the year thinking of a way to host one of the biggest events in the community, while keeping the key population safe.
