The Coahoma Bulldogs coasted to a 49-0 annihilation of the Miles Bulldogs on the road last Friday night. Coach Chris Joslin’s team was clicking on all cylinders and were able to successfully attack Miles on the ground and through the air.

“We just continued to play hard and wanted to limit our penalties,” Joslin said. “That was a big focus all week and we did well getting those numbers down. The execution and the lack of penalties from us had a lot to do with what we were proud of.”

Senior quarterback Kolt Redden had another strong performance with two touchdown passes and he also scored a third touchdown on the ground.

Running back Brysen Kerby really made his presence felt on the ground when he carried the ball 16 times for 136 yards and a score. He also pitched in one catch for 12 yards and the Coahoma offense was on fire for all four quarters.

This week, Coahoma will be going up against the Eldorado Eagles (11) in a home contest that could move the Bulldogs to 3-0 on the season.
