?? ?? The Big Spring Steers had a Bye Week during Week Two, so there were no players of the week for them. They will be back on the field this Friday night against the Monahans Loboes. Following a big performance from quarterback Gabriel Baeza in the first game of the season against Vernon, the Steers will be looking to build on the positive momentum they built throughout that second half. Braxton Pearson and the rest of the Steer defense will need to once again bring the pressure and disrupt the Loboes’ offense by consistently making plays in the backfield. Also, look for senior running back Orlando Sanchez to possibly have a breakout game on the ground.
