Bowles named as Interim City Manager during special meeting

A special meeting for Big Spring City Council was held Saturday, Sept. 12 at Noon to discuss the consideration, appointment, employment, and duties of an Interim City Manager.

The meeting was called to order to begin public comment, however, no public comment was made. The City Manager search was the focus of Saturday’s special meeting of City Council. Bowles was named as interim City Manager while the search begins for a new City Manager. Before Council went into Executive Session they heard a presentation from the PACE Group, a search firm which recently helped the Big Spring EDC find a new Executive Director.
