Life Church
We are excited to open our doors and welcome our Life Church friends to the campus this Sunday. In order to meet this Sunday we will continue to follow the guidelines that have been set and provided by the Texas State Attorney General: limited capacity, proper spacing between seats and rows, sanctuary will be cleaned and disinfected, if you or someone in your family have underlying health issues we are encouraging you to watch and participate in the service remotely. Masks are not required but are encouraged to be worn. Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter the sanctuary.
Pastor Kevin will continue his verse by verse study on the book of Revelation this Sunday. Be sure to purchase a Scripture Journal for this series. They are available for $5.00 at the kiosk.
This Sunday is Baptism Sunday. There will be several individuals who have decided to make a public declaration of their faith in Christ through Water Baptism.
We will have Corporate Prayer and Worship in the Life Church Sanctuary on Wednesday night from 6:30-7 p.m.

Life Kids will have their classes this Sunday. Our Nursery is available for those ages newborn to 2. Our Toddlers class serve those ages 3 & 4. Our Neighbor to Neighbor Outreach team will be going to visit our neighbors around our campus on Saturday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. The purpose of this ministry is to find the need and fill it.

Crestview Baptist Church
At Crestview Baptist Church, we believe the most fulfilling pursuit for a body of believers is not entertainment, gimmicks, or programs. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church welcomes all to participate in our services. We are located North of the High School on Goliad Street (1001 S. Goliad), and would love to have you visit. Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by social gathering outside the church in the Courtyard & Bennett Garden.

Healing Conversations - NazFamily will be a host site for an upcoming SNU Pastor’s Forum with Dave Roberts on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. He is the Lead Pastor, Montrose Church of the Nazarene and Author of Healing Conversations. We have Bible classes for all stages of life, from toddlers and teens to classes for adults. Together we explore the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven His story through history and is present with us now.

First Presbyterian Church,
Big Spring
Sunday afternoon, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. there will be a Service of Installation for Rev. Allen R. Cross III as Minister of First Presbyterian Church of Big Spring. Members of the Installation team will be from Tres Rios Presbytery. Rev. Robert Reno will deliver the message.
Refreshments will be available in the courtyard after the service. The service will also be on Zoom, and the link, meeting ID, and passcode will be on Faith Notes and offered on Sunday morning.
The Service Committee reminds members to donate hygiene products from now until the end of September for people in need. Travel size items needed are the following: deodorant, combs, razors, toothpaste, tooth brushes, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, wash cloths, shave cream.
For anyone wishing to join in a daily prayer, one may go to www.fpcbigspring.com and select Daily Prayers. Rev. Allen Cross also posts a Weekly Devotional at that website, which may provide food for thought or help during time of stress or feelings of isolation. The devotional is posted on Wednesdays. Presbyterian Women will resume their monthly meetings and Bible study on Tuesday, September 22, at 2 p.m. in the library. The study for 2020-2021 is called Into the Light: Finding Hope through Prayers of Lament by P. Lynn Miller. The study books may be picked up at the church. Everyone is welcome to participate in PW.
The Communications Committee, Kay Kennemur, Monika Robinson, and Nancy Koger, met with Rev. Cross on Monday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. in the library.
Wednesday Lectionary Bible Study continues to meet in Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m. with physical participants and welcomes those who are staying at home to join by computer on Zoom. The link to join in the Zoom group will be posted on the church website, in Faith Notes, and in the Sunday worship bulletin.
The Thursday Lunch Bunch is meeting in Fellowship Hall at 11:30. The monthly Session Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, in Fellowship Hall.
The Sunday morning Take Ten fellowship in the parlor between Sunday School and worship has resumed. The following guidelines are in place to provide for everyone’s safety: no home-baked goods, individually-wrapped items only, individual juice servings, plates and napkins supplied by the church, and social distancing is recommended. Deborah Jones will be host for this week.
Lectionary passages for the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost are: Psalm 105:1-6, 37-45; Philippians 1:21-30; Matthew 20:1-16. Rev. Allen Cross will lead the worship service. Organist/music director Gabe Martinez leads the music on the organ and piano.

Pastor Michaelz sermon from last Sunday the 13th of September was taken from the Book of Revelations. While most might see this as a doom and gloom message……..the sermon was anything but doom and gloom.
Pastor Michaelz brought alive the positively and enlightenment of the passages… …giving the congregation a different slant about Revelations.
This coming Sunday….Pastor Michaelz sermon will be from the Book of Matthew 6:14-15.
