First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church is lo­cated just off Gregg Street at the cor­ner of Fourth and Scurry in down­town Big Spring. Our Sun­day morn­ing sched­ule in­cludes the 9 a.m.

Tra­di­tions ser­vice fea­tur­ing the pipe or­gan, choir, trum­pet and hymns. At 11 a.m., The Bridge ser­vice fea­tur­ing con­tem­po­rary mu­sic led by a won­der­ful praise team.

Wor­ship ser­vices are broad­cast live each Sun­day at 11 a.m. on ra­dio sta­tion KBYG-105.5 FM. You can also find the ser­vices live streamed on our Facebook page at First United Methodist Church Big Spring.

On Sun­day Septem­ber 13, Pas­tor Ricky Carstensen shared with us that God was Big enough to pro­vide for us from Philip­pi­ans 4:11-19. How Big is God? He is Big enough to pro­vide for us, Paul tells us that no mat­ter what cir­cum­stances we are in, God’s sup­ply is al­ways suf­fi­cient.

Paul also tells us that God meets our needs “ac­cord­ing to His riches in glory”, like Paul, let us seek to know Christ in­ti­mately and trust him to­tally.

This next week Pas­tor Ricky will be shar­ing that God is Big Enough to Bless us!

Come join us this com­ing Sun­day. On Wed­nes­day Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. “Cel­e­brate Re­cov­ery” is be­ing of­fered in the Youth Hall for any­one in the com­mu­nity seek­ing free­dom and healing from hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Chil­dren’s Church is a great place for your child to learn and play while you en­joy Wor­ship! This min­istry is for chil­dren ages K through 4th grade! We will be build­ing on our Kid Con­nect lessons. Please bring your chil­dren for the fun and learn­ing.

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry will be open 2nd and 4th Satur­days of each month from 9 -11 a.m. If you are in need of food, come see us. Spon­sored by Spring Creek Fel­low­ship Church.
