Coahoma ISD announces Homecoming Queen 2020, Football Hero and Sweetheart
Coahoma ISD celebrated Homecoming 2020 activities this past Friday. While there was no football game – due to a cancellation by the Merkel Badgers – the crowning of Homecoming Queen and King still took place, along with other Homecoming festivities. The celebration began at 6 p.m. at Coahoma's Bill Easterling Memorial Stadium. The Homecoming Court for 2020 was introduced during the community pep rally. In addition to the Homecoming announcement, those attending were introduced to the
Coahoma Varsity football team, volleyball team, cross country, band and cheerleaders. The athletic coaches, district officers and the 2020 athletic trainers, ball boys and flag girls were also introduced.

Manning, who was accompanied by her father Jimmy. In addition to the announcement of Homecoming Queen, the Coahoma High School Football Hero and Sweetheart were announced. This year's High School Football Hero was Colin Daniels and Homecoming Sweetheart is MaKynlee Overton.
