Big Spring City Council to hold work session at 10 a.m. Tuesday before meeting

The City Council members will meet for a work session at 10 a.m. inside the City Council Chambers. During the work session the following items will be discussed:

• Bid award to Zoll Medical Corporation for EMS Equipment

• Permission for the Main Street Businesses to seek donations

• Consider recruiting firms for City Manager position

• Discussion regarding Citizens Adivsory Board and other boards

• Consider resolution to fill vacancy on the Howard County Joint Tax Appraisal District Board of Directors

• Consider Ordinance amending the ttile of the Sanctuary City for the Unborn to Safe Haven for the Unborn

• Consider Ordinance amending Chp. 34 fo the Big Spring Code entitled Municipal Court

• Consider ordinance amending various sections of Chp. 12 of the Big Spring City Code regarding signs and billboards

• Consider ordinance amending structural standards

• Condiser ordinance amending Chp. 12 of the Big Spring City Code regarding grease traps; Chp. 36 of the Big Spring Code entitled Nuisances Article III Rodent Control

• Consider ordinance amending Chp. 44 of the Big Spring Code regarding illegal dumping and litter control

• Consider ordinance amending Chp. 36 of the Big Spring City Code regarding timely repair of broken windows 501 Birdwell Lane (432) 296-4540

• Consider budget amendment ordinance for wood chipping services

• Consider Change order with Jacob & Martin for water line improvements

• Consider agreement with Howard County Tax Assessor Collector

• Consider agreeement with Wes-Tex Telecommunications, Ltd.
