After Council members have had an opportunity for Council Input, the Council will move into Executive Session to discuss litigation matters and Economic Development negotiations. After discussion, the Council will move back into open session and take any necessary action as deemed appropriate in the City Council’s discretion regarding litigation and Economic Development negotiations.

• Final reading of a resolution authorizing and appointing the City Manager to submit an application to the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to secure funding for Department Operations/Media Data Management Network Servers; final reading authorizing City Manager or Mayor to enter contract with Allison, Bass & Magee, LLP for professional services related to redistricting following the 2020 Census.

• Vouchers for 02/12/2021, 02/19/2021, 02/26/2021, and 03/05/2021

• Listed under old business the tabled agenda item regarding the Big Spring Economic Development Corporation by amending Title of Article VI entitled “Directors” to “Directors, Officers, and Employees” and amending

March 2 was Read across America day and Dr. Seuss's Birthday. BSI had wear stripes or red, white, and blue day. Students in their reading classes were read Dr. Seuss books, took AR tests, and then had D.E.A.R. time. Student teacher Cecili Acosta reads Oh the Places We will Go to Ms. Reagan's 5th grade class. D.E.A.R. time in Mrs. Fancher's 6th grade class. Students in Mrs. Gomez's class enjoying Horton Hears a Who.
