The Bulldog bats answered right back in the top of the first, as Seth Brooks started the game with a hard-hit single. Billy Starr followed suit with a sacrifice bunt to advance Brooks to second. Brooks then stole third base and eventually scored the Bulldog's first run of the day on a passed ball. Ky Kemper took a walk, as did Kobe Cervantes. Ky Kemper came across to score on yet another passed ball moving the score to 3 to 2. Cervantes then stole home plate to even the game at three-all after one inning of play.

Redden came out for his second inning of work and was on point as he breezed through the inning, not allowing any runs. The Bulldogs would stall out in the bottom of the second as well, leaving the game all tied up three apiece after two innings of play.

The third inning found Redden still on the mound. He had a little tougher time with the Wolves as they could get to the pitcher for three runs on the inning, again taking back the lead at 6 to 3. Colorado City was able to keep the Bulldog bats under control for another inning, not allowing any runs leaving the score of 6 to 3 after three innings of play.

The fourth inning found Redden finding his stride again on the mound as he went on to strike out the side in order. In the bottom of the fourth, the Bulldog bats woke up, as Seth Brooks lead the inning on a hard-hit single to left field. Billy Starr followed with a walk. Ky Kemper then drove in a run, cutting the lead to 6 to 4. Two batters later, Billy Baily singled on a hard-hit ball to left field, driving in Cervantes to tighten the Wolf lead even more 6 to 5.

The Bulldogs blew the game wide open as the bats woke up and surged as they had a ten-run inning. It all started with a Grant Glidewell walk, followed by a Seth Brooks single. Starr then came up to the plate and laid down a bunt single to load the bases with no outs. Kemper then reached on an error as two runs scored, tying the game up at seven all. The inning kept rolling on when Cervantes grounded into a fielder's choice, driving in another run to give the Bulldogs their first lead of the game. Billy Bailey then hammered a three-run home run to left field opening up the flood gates giving the Bulldogs a 12 to 7 lead. They would add three more runs on the inning, widening the lead to 15 to7 after five innings of play.

Billy Bailey took over on the mound, taking the ball from Kolt Redden, who finished the day with five innings pitched, three hits, seven runs, and ten strikeouts on his day. Bailey would end up closing out the game keeping the wolves to only two runs the rest of the game earning the save on the day. Coahoma went to put up one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning, securing a win against the Wolves by a score of 16 to 9.

The Bulldogs looked impressive in all aspects of the game. This young team is starting to find its stride at the right time as District play is just right around the corner. Next up for the Bulldogs is a three-game tournament to take place in Crane.
