Simon T. Correa

Simon T. Correa, 95, of Big Spring, passed away peacefully Friday March 19, 2021 in his home. Visitation will be 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Monday March 22, 2021 at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Holy Trinity Parish. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born March 26, 1925, in Ackerly, Texas. He married Magdalena

Dec. 12, 1941 in Big Spring, she preceded him in death Sept. 10, 1997.

Simon was a lifelong resident of Big Spring he served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He established and owned “S.T. Correa Cabinet Shop”

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and had been longtime member and helped build Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
