Kolt was born Jan. 9, 1995, in Lubbock, Texas, to Dwain and Diane Fox. He was raised in Big Spring, Texas, and graduated from the Fox Family Homeschool Academy on June 1, 2013.

He was active in Boy Scouting beginning at age six as a Tiger Cub, and remained active in Troop 1 until achieving his Eagle rank at the age of 17. He served as a chaplain at many Boy Scout functions. He exemplified leadership to his Troop 1 for many years alongside his dad who was always his Scout Master. He was also active in 4H, showing quarter horses.

Kolt spent much of his life studying God’s word and growing in his strong faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. He was baptized at First Baptist Church in Big Spring by Brother Dennis Teeters, where he swam out of the baptistry. He loved to study apologetics and defending God’s Word. He was an active leader in the College Baptist Church youth ministry.

He touched the lives of so many people over the years. He was born into the family of God, and his life in Jesus is eternal.

Kolt loved nature and being outdoors in God’s creation. Many of his photographs consisted of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Kolt’s cheerfulness and light heartedness was such a light to everyone he was around. He was thoughtful, always encouraging, and loved to make us smile and laugh. He bought his first house in Big Spring, Texas, recently. Kolt was a licensed pilot. He also wore many hats working on the office management team and tax preparation team at our family firm, Fox, Garcia & Company. Kolt had a huge heart for others, he was a great listener, a diligent helper, and he was so loved.
