Krista Nicole Bounds

Krista Nicole Bounds, 32, of Bastrop, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. Family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Services will be on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

Krista was born on March 12, 1989.

She loved being out at the river and lake as well as spending time with family. She had a beautiful smile and soul. She was a great daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was loved by lots of friends that cared about her and was the world to everyone. She loved tattoos. She had a mother/ daughter tattoo, a sister tattoo and daughter tattoo for both her girls. Her Pops called her “Blossom”.

She is survived by her parents: Shoni Morrow and stepdad: Ricky “Pops” Morrow; stepdad: Ricky Head of Sweetwater; father: Larry Bounds of Big Spring; bonus dad: Cable Mackey; four sisters: Hannah Head of Big Spring, Lindsay Wagner and J-Bug of Big Spring, Amber Morrow, Braxton and Brayden of Big Spring and Tiffany Morrow of Big Spring; two brothers: Aaron Head of Sweetwater and Brandon Morrow of Big Spring; two daughters: Parker Franks and Payton Franks of Big Spring; uncle: Steve Hildebrand; and grandparents: Erlyen Head and S.C. Head of Sweetwater.

She was preceded in death by Judy “Mema” Gardener and Ruth Taylor “Nana.
