Bud Grantham, 84, of Big Spring, passed away on Saturday, Dec 18, 2021. He will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec 22, 2021, and 9:00 a.m. to 11 am Thursday, Dec 23, 2021, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born Apr 11, 1937, to Odie and Kathryn Grantham. He married Angel Denton on Jun 16, 1960. In his early life, he farmed with his dad in the Knott community. Through hard work, Bud and Angel, together with their kids, farmed that cotton that provided many blessings for the family. Rodney and Bud continued farming together until Bud’s retirement. Rodney continues to maintain the farm. Bud was mischievou­s, witty, and loved to joke around with people. A farmer, a cowboy, a husband, a daddy, and a special Ppaw.

He is survived by his son, Rodney Grantham, and wife Dena, of Big Spring, daughters, Jami King and husband Roland of Big Spring, Texas, and Lana Follis and Rob Runnels of LaPorte, Texas. Grandchild­ren Jared Stevens and wife Randy of Baird, Texas, Blake Grantham and wife Rachael of Big Spring, Texas, Austin Grantham of San Antonio, Morgan Follis of Pasadena, Chasidy Grantham of Lubbock, Tyler Runnels of LaPorte, Texas, and Karmin Castillo and husband Steven of Big Spring, Texas, six great-grandchild­ren, Charlie Stevens, Landry Stevens, Stokley Stevens, Reid Grantham, Tucker Grantham, Leonidas, and Lazarus Castillo. One sister, Vicky Ware and husband Gary, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Angel Grantham, a grandson, Jason Stevens, brother, Grady Grantham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any favorite charity.
