What is Faith?
Strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
“Bereaved people who have shown supreme faith.”
*A lot of well-known preachers have shown supreme faith. Some of us have parents that have done just that.
Brothers and sisters in Christ have shown supreme faith. You think of David, his faith in God's love for forgiveness, for mercy and Grace. The 12 apostles persuaded, fully persuaded, in Jesus Christ. Daniel and the Lion's den. Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego.
If you have been serving God, whether it be a month, a year, years, you have shown great faith in your consistency, you have kept the faith through trials, tribulations, persecution ....
It has been your faith in God's word, and the word is God, that has strengthened your relationship, it has strengthened your faith, it has sustained you.
You have gained peace, you have gained blessings, you have gained Joy, and have maintained your position as a child of God.
Pray God's strength in your faith today, and I pray that you keep the faith no matter what, because it is your faith that's going to see you through. Remember that your faith is more precious than gold, and we cannot please God with that faith.
We go to church, believe there's a God.
Believing we are going to meet with God and he is going to be there and his word is going to minister to us and we are going to receive something from God.
My friend, your faith is not in vain. Don't share your hopes and dreams with just anyone; some things are just between you and God. Yes!
