I gave two

grandsons cameras for Christmas. During a visit earlier this year, my husband and I took them on a bird walk through San Elijo Lagoon in Cardiff, California. Our cameras clicked away when we saw ducks and egrets, and the excitement was especially high for our fledgling photographers, ages 7 and 4. Imagine the joy when this beautiful male Costa’s perched in front of us. His brilliant plumage caught the light perfectly.
