Yellow-shafted northern flickers were visiting

my natural feeders all winter after snow blanketed Michigan. This beautiful individual came to check things out. Since it’s hard for flickers to gather ants off the ground in the winter, they enjoy my suet logs. They’re such wonderful birds to watch.
