It was a bitterly cold day

when this ringnecked pheasant decided to perch on my railing. It showed up every now and then, fluffing its plumage to stay warm. The pheasant wasn’t very fearful, so I was able to capture this shot. It’s an excellent example of the rainbow of colors pheasants display.
