READERS SET OUT TO CAPTURE THE MOST STUNNING FLOWERS THEY COULD FIND.
I LOVE TO TAKE
close-ups of flowers because the delicate inner beauty is one of the best parts of the plant. This was the largest lily I’d ever seen. The color, as well as the fine texture of the petals, had to be captured and shared. It has always been mesmerizing to me. Diane Hendler CORNVILLE, ARIZONA
WE LOVE GOING
to Gibbs Gardens in north Georgia because the ponds have so many beautiful waterlilies. I like to get level with the water and capture the reflections. Sara Aspy MARIETTA, GEORGIA
I PLANTED A POT
of zinnias with hopes of attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. I didn’t ultimately get the activity I was looking for, but I was thrilled with how beautiful the flowers were. They were definitely the most gorgeous flowers in my backyard that year. Donna Ruiz

YELLOW ROSES
were my mother’s favorite flower. I believe different species of plants have distinct personalities, and the rose—with its delicate petals—stands above all the others. Lisbeth Rutt

THIS SWEET BAY MAGNOLIA BLOSSOM
opened up just after a rain. I think these magnolias are lovely, and the center of the bloom is so intricate. Because this was only the second bloom I’ve had on this small tree since planting it, I was excited to capture this photo. Gabrielle Harrison FLORAL CITY, FLORIDA
