My rosebush has been in the family for more than 75 years. What kind is it?
Melinda:
There are thousands of kinds of roses in gardens around the world. With so many old and new varieties, more information is needed for a proper identification.
Take pictures, and make notes on the color and size of the rose hips and the growth habit of the plant. Consider taking a sample and pictures of your rose to a local rose society exhibit or meeting. These folks are experts in new and old roses and will be best able to help with identification.
