MAKING IT RIGHT

We misidentified the fritillary shown on page 39 in our August/september issue. It should have been labeled as an Aphrodite fritillary. Upon closer inspection, the butterfly has a single black spot near the base of each forewing (see circles below), which tell us it’s an Aphrodite fritillary.
