Bohemian waxwing
RANGE
Seen in Alaska and western Canada during summer. Visits the northern U.S. in winter, overlapping with cedar waxwings’ range.
SOUND
Very fast and vibratoheavy trill.
APPEARANCE
Different from the cedar waxwing in the yellow and white markings on wings, gray coloring on belly, and cinnamon under tail. Bohemians are also slightly larger birds.
