COUNTERATTACK:

-

Jim Arvanitis (left) and his opponent begin in matching left leads ( 1). The opponent initiates his attack by pivoting on his left foot so he can execute a rear-leg round kick (2). Arvanitis checks the kick with his left shin (3), then puts his foot down and delivers an overhand right to the head (4). Pressing the attack, Arvanitis closes and clinches (5) right before he drives a knee into the man’s torso (6).
