Ten states grow 98 percent of US blueberrie­s: California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Mississipp­i, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon and Washington.

hear the Ball Brothers? A mix of musical styles, melted together by tight, four-part harmony. Each song is handpicked to be message-driven, and theologica­lly sound. Their goal is to spread the message of the Gospel and encourage believers.

Then at 8 p.m. Saturday, September 4th at the Michigan Street Stage are CODY IKERD and the SIDEWINDER­S. This group is a country music band from Southern Indiana who have been performing all over the Midwest for the past five years. Cody Ikerd performs everything from Hank Williams Jr. To Tyler Childers.

There is also a “Miss Blueberry” pageant held annually to select Marshall County Blueberry Festival’s representa­tive to other festivals and to reign over the Festival. This year’s Miss Blueberry is Miss Jaela Faulkner from Bourbon. There is also a “little Mr. and Miss Blueberry” who are selected at the festival.

I could go on and on about the Blueberry Festival as I had been a part of it for over 42 years. There IS definitely something for everyone at the BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL.
