TIP
The fasteners used in this project are 11/2-inch-long-by-5/16-inch-diameter lag screws with hex heads (and flat washers) driven upward through mounting holes in the bunk brackets into the two-by-four and two-by-six boards. For trailers used in salt water, use stainlesssteel hardware to thwart corrosion.
