Boat trailers with articulating assemblies of rollers make it easier to load boats when using ramps that have a shallow angle or are poorly maintained, because these trailers need not be submerged as deeply as you might with bunk supports. The assemblies make it easy to winch a boat on. One caveat: Make sure the boat is secure on the trailer, lest it roll off at an inopportune moment.
