The successor to Raymarine’s popular line of Axiom MFDs, Axiom+ is engineered for greater speed, quicker responsiveness and future expansion. Available in 7-, 9- and 12-inch display models, the MFDs are fully networkable via NMEA 2000 and Ethernet, with Raymarine and FLIR peripherals such as radar, thermal-imaging systems and more. They come performance-tuned with a quad-core processor for fast chart redraws, multichannel sonar views and augmented reality navigation.

Axiom+ models also feature IPS color displays that are 25 percent brighter than previous Axiom models, resulting in greater clarity and wider viewing angles. In addition, they offer improved touchscreen performance thanks to Raymarine’s HydroTough nano coating, which provides enhanced impact resistance, repels water and oils, and maintains accurate touch control if the screen or your hands are wet.

Axiom+ offers four built-in sonar channels—including RealVision 3D—to deliver different views of the underwater world. A next-generation ultra-sensitive GPS receiver offers improvement in sensitivity for more accurate navigation in challenging conditions such as fog.

“Axiom+ takes everything boaters enjoy about Axiom and elevates the user experience with increased performance, simpler navigation and superior visibility,” says Gregoire Outters, vice president and general manager of the Raymarine brand. “Combine these benefits with our new LightHouse Charts catalog

(see below) and boaters have an exciting, powerful and sophisticated new choice for marine navigation.”

The new Axiom+ models start at $749, and each model includes a three-year warranty. To learn more, visit raymarine.com.
