SAME PLACE, DIFFERENT VIEWS

Vector charts are digitally layered so they can be customized to the user’s preference­s. They are more dynamic onscreen, and don’t exactly match the paper charts, as do raster versions. Depending on which software you’re using, the image on your screen can look vastly different from the raster chart or one another. Take these three images of the Peace River near Punta Gorda, Florida, grabbed by Editor-at-Large Randy Vance.
